LoadingLoadingLoadingLoadingUAE talent narratives often point abroad. This paper surveys 310 mid-career professionals in Dubai and Abu Dhabi considering further study. A verified digital award from Arab Leadership University, completed without leaving employment, was preferred to a one-year foreign campus when the family was already settled and the visa was employment-tied. Respondents wanted Arabic and English support, Friday-aware scheduling, and a registrar who understood Emirates ID processes for identity checks. They did not want a pretend campus tour as a substitute for academic standards. ALU should speak to UAE talent as residents who will stay, not as people failing to emigrate. That is a distinct research and teaching agenda for an Arab digital university.
