This degree starts with local content: goods, services, and workforce that can be counted without lying. You will treat oil-to-services, renewables procurement, and family-enterprise subcontracting as one system. Arab Leadership University is explicit: this is not professional engineering. You will not stamp drawings. You will write a bilingual local-content plan a board can fund, interrogate vendor IKTVA-style theatre, and separate attestation of overseas engineering degrees from evaluation of whether a supplier can actually deliver. The award is academic. It is not a NOC graduate scheme, not UN climate employment, and not a dealing licence for energy commodities. It is for people who must keep diversification honest when the press release has already announced megawatts. You will map a supplier-development file that counts goods and services without counting megawatts you did not design, write a bilingual local-content note a board can fund, and keep PE language off the student transcript. Each course has a question, a method, and a submission. In this field, students draw the system, name the constraint that binds it, and compare two responses. Reading is a system description, an indicator note, and a project option paper. The artefact a marker expects is a recommendation for one decision, with the evidence and the downside. The award is built so that a graduate can do the following in practice: Write a local-content plan that is not headcount theatre Map oil-to-services skill and contract shifts Keep PE/CEng boundaries in every public claim Teaching assumes the student can read a source, attempt a problem before the seminar, and revise after feedback. Attendance at live seminars is part of the design. The capstone or final course must use the methods of the earlier courses; a project that ignores them does not pass. This course does not confer a professional engineering licence. The pages for each course name the topics that are examined. Those topics are the syllabus. A brochure line is not a substitute for them.

Modules are assessed through a published mix of coursework, applied projects, and examinations. Exam windows are announced in advance so students in other time zones are not forced into overnight sittings. Alternative arrangements are available where documented.
The published duration is 18 months. Teaching language: English and Arabic (bilingual assessment; academic Arabic required for AR-medium tracks). Actual time-to-complete depends on mode and any recognised prior learning.
