ALU and KFUPM Network Establish Dual Bachelor of Science in Cloud Computing and Software Architecture
In a major stride for regional STEM capacity building, Arab Leadership University has announced a Dual Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Cloud Architecture in partnership with the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) Academic Moderation Network. The program allows undergraduate students across North Africa, the Levant, and the Gulf to earn two recognized Bachelor of Science degrees simultaneously.
The 36-month accelerated curriculum covers distributed computing, microservices architecture, cyber resilience, and algorithmic problem-solving. Courses are moderated to strict ABET-aligned computing standards, with practical programming assignments conducted on enterprise cloud platforms.
"Talented youth across Arab countries often lack access to elite STEM institutions due to geographic and financial constraints," stated the Dean of Academic Affairs. "By combining ALU's accessible digital campus with KFUPM's renowned engineering rigor, we are democratizing access to top-tier computing degrees with zero upfront tuition fees."
Graduates of the dual track will benefit from fast-track admission into ALU's Dual Master's degree programs and direct recruitment visibility with leading regional tech enterprises.
