ALU and Regional Computing Partners Roll Out Dual MSc in Sovereign Cloud Defense and Cyber Forensics
In response to escalating cyber threats targeting critical national infrastructure across the Middle East, Arab Leadership University has launched an advanced Dual MSc in Cybersecurity & Sovereign Cloud Defense in collaboration with the KFUPM Academic Moderation Network.
The 18-month curriculum immerses postgraduate students in zero-trust security perimeters, reverse malware engineering, SCADA/ICS industrial control security, and sovereign cryptographic standards. Students participate in hands-on simulated cyber warfare exercises in ALU's virtual cyber range, defusing complex threat scenarios mapped to actual regional threat vectors.
"Cyber sovereignty is no longer optional for Arab nations—it is a cornerstone of national security and economic stability," emphasized the Head of Cybersecurity Programs. "Graduates of this dual program will possess verified expertise certified by two leading academic institutions, positioning them for immediate leadership in national CERTs, sovereign wealth funds, and telecom operators."
Admission is open to graduates with backgrounds in computing, electrical engineering, or relevant enterprise IT experience.
